Course: Dental Hygiene

B.Voc in Dental Hygiene from Guru Kashi University is to bridge the gap between learned expertise and actual practice to fulfill the needs created for the competent dental workforce. With hands-on practice and technicalities, the curriculum allows the students to assist positively in the area of dental health and hygiene. 

• Skill Development: Training in preventive dental care, oral health assessment, and advanced dental hygiene skills. The entire purpose is to make the practice comfortable for the students, where they will be sufficiently skillful in handling all modern-day dental equipment.
• Professional Education: To provide an in-depth understanding of dental hygiene principles, such as oral anatomy, periodontology, radiography, and patient care, to thoroughly ground the students in the science of dentistry.
• General Education: Essential general education subjects integrated with courses, which not only promote critical thinking and communication but also enhance general problem-solving skills, thus ensuring total academic growth.
• Employment and Entrepreneurship: Workplace preparation within dental clinics and hospitals, public health centres, teaching institutions, etc., will be built with entrepreneurial skills, allowing for independent practice in the field of dental hygiene.
