Course: Animation

Guru Kashi University offers B.Voc in Animation as a bridge program intended to infuse theoretical knowledge with practical application and prepare students for the dynamic requirements of the animation and multimedia industry. With an equal balance of creative development and technical knowledge, B.Voc in Animation trains students to contribute proficiently across multiple avenues: films, gaming, advertisements, and digital media. 

  • Skill Development: This includes specialized training in the 2D and 3D animation process, character design, visual effects, and storyboarding so that students gain expertise in using industry-standard animation software and tools.
  • Professional Education: This includes deep knowledge of animation principles, motion graphics, animation theory, cinematography, and post-production techniques so that a strong foundation of science and art of animation is created.
  • General Education: This integrates general education subjects that are essential to the development of critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills, thus ensuring all-around academic and creative development. 
  • Employment and Entrepreneurship: To train students to seek employment in animation studios, film production houses, gaming companies, and advertising agencies, while nurturing entrepreneurial skills that help them establish independent animation ventures.
  • Adaptability: Focus on equipping students with the ability to stay aware of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the animation industry so as to excel in a fast-evolving creative world.
